Animal behaviour consultations address issues including anxiety, fear, separation issues, inappropriate soiling, compulsive behaviour and aggression. Problem behaviours are assessed in detail before a diagnosis and treatment plan are established. Treatment plans are kind and ethical, and are individually designed to be as manageable as possible. Ongoing support is provided via email, telephone or in person. To ensure problem behaviours are not linked to a medical condition, veterinary referral is essential.

You will be asked to complete and return a questionnaire. I will either email or post this to you, or alternatively you can download this from the Client / Vet Forms page.
Consultations last 2-3 hours and take place in the owners home. A behaviour diagnosis is made and a treatment plan identified. I then prepare a report and send this to the client and referring vet. Email or telephone support is provided for 12 weeks at no extra charge.
Generally, one consultation with further email or telephone support is sufficient. Follow-up visits can be arranged if necessary. These generally last one hour.
Clients with a pet insurance policy which covers behaviour can generally claim back my fees, as I am an ASAB-accredited Certified Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CCAB) and a full member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC). Please contact your pet insurance company directly to clarify this.
Dogs: Full consult £240 (package fee including home visit, report & support)
Cats: Full consult £200 (package fee including home visit, report & support)
Rabbits: Full consult £120 (package fee including home visit, report & support)
Follow-up appointments in person £50 (where required)
Travel outside a 10 mile radius of Fleet, Hampshire incurs a fee for mileage and time. Please contact directly for details.
